Body building, not the enemy of CrossFit as some may think! This one hour class is here to give you that classic muscle pump through hypertrophy training using body building movements such as bicep curls, tricep extensions, and glute isolation work while utilizing some of our favorite performance and power moves such as back squats, dead lifts and strict pull ups. This fun training experience is designed by Owner and Coach Amos Sotelo whose love of body building began as a young teen training in World Gym with his older brother, a Physique competitor. In more recent years, Amos did a Body Building show for himself and has continued to use body building as a fun training path for maintain muscle and performance.
A workout designed for challenging stamina and stability as well as building mental toughness and grit through a military/first responder inspired training. Think grunt work like farmers carry, over head carry, sand bag work and sleds!
This one hour restorative flow is brought to OPC by Imani Adjua, a wellness coach and yoga instructor who helps athletes reset before starting a new week by bringing a relaxing flow with mindful breathing. Yoga is only the first 3 Sundays of the month unless otherwise noted.
A one hour class of instruction for positioning and take down techniques. Includes warm up, break down and drilling of movements, positions, submissions and escapes followed by live rolling. Skills learned in this environment are applicable to competitive Jiu Jitsu, MMA and tactical skill for police and military.
